A literary treat for our students from grade 9-12: Three authors visited us on Monday, 13 February, to read from their current works. The visit of Margit Schreiner (Austria), Meral Kureyshi (Switzerland) and Franziska Gänsler (Germany) was part of the official “German-speaking Authors in Thailand” event series organized by the D-A-CH embassies. They read selected texts on the topics of travel, home, strangers and identity and our students had an opportunity to ask them questions about their texts and life as an author. A particularly interesting aspect for the students was the development process from a story idea to a whole book.
