Historical Milestones

Foundation of Swiss School Bangkok by Swiss expats; schooling in a small house on Sukhumvit Soi 19 (8 students/1 teacher). 

1963

Affiliation with Ruamrudee International School (RIS) as their German-speaking section; classes on the RIS school campus on Soi Ruam Rudee (111 students/22 teachers). RIS Swiss Section-Deutschsprachige Schule Bangkok

1983

Relocation to the actual RIS campus in Minburi (196 students/22 teachers).

1991

Introduction of the Swiss Maturity (212 students/23 teachers).

1995

Introduction of the Swiss Bilingual Maturity (English-German) (218 students / 29 teachers).

2007

BLI 1 and award of the "Excellent German School Abroad" seal of approval (216 students / 43 teachers)
