Während unseres Alltags begegnen wir unterschiedlichsten Pflanzen. Viele davon gibt es aber auch auf unserem Schulgelände. Zusammen suchen wir verschiedene Pflanzen. Wir versu-chen, diese zu bestimmen und erstellen Steckbriefe. Schlussendlich entsteht aus unserer Sammlung ein Herbarium.

Every day, we come across a wide variety of plants. Many of them can also be found around our school building. Together we look for different plants. We try to identify them and create descriptions. Finally, we create a herbarium from our collection.

2.2 Wir nähen Teddybären / We sew Teddy Bears

Wir wollen unsere eigenen Teddybären gestalten. Dieser kann flauschig, weich oder glatt, groß oder klein, mollig oder schlank werden, ganz wie du magst. Wir schneiden alle Teile selbst zu, nähen mit der Hand, füllen und dekorieren. Natürlich können wir (falls die Zeit noch bleibt) Kleidung für unsere Bären herstellen.

In this course we will design and sew our own teddy bears. You may choose if you create a furry friend or a smooth snuggly one, a big or small cuddly friend, a chubby or slender one – just as you like. We will cut and sew all parts by hand, fill and decorate our new friend and (if times allows) we will design some clothes.

Plätzchenbacken gehört auf jeden Fall zu den vielen schönen Dingen, die man in der Ad-ventszeit machen kann. Sowohl Omas Favoriten als auch trendige Alternativen dürfen die Kinder geniessen. Im Kurs können die Kinder selbst Weichnachtsplätzchen backen, deokrie-ren und dann schliesslich mit nach Hause nehmen.

Backing cookies is one of the nice activities you can do during the Advent season. Your child will enjoy both grandma´s favorite and trendy Christmas cookie recipes. They can bake, deco-rate cookies by themselves and bring them home.

Der Kurs ist für Mädchen und Jun-gen gleichermassen geeignet. Du brauchst für diesen Kurs gute Hallenschuhe, Sportbeklei-dung und eine Wasserflasche.

We train handball, basketball, and other ball sports. In any case with a ball and in such a way that you also really sweat and must try. The course is suitable for girls and boys alike. You need good indoor shoes, sportswear, and a water bottle for this course.

In diesem Kurs lesen wir gemeinsam, sprechen über das, was wir lesen und arbeiten auch mal kreativ mit dem Gelesenen, künstlerisch oder schreibend. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler wählen die Lektüre selbst aus und die Bücher können natürlich auch ausgeliehen werden.

In this course we will read together, talk about what we have read and continue the stories in a creative way, for example in writing or drawing. The students choose the books themselves and can also borrow them from the library.

Fast täglich werden Kinder in der Schule und zu Hause zum aufmerksamen Zuhören aufge-fordert, aber das genaue Hören wird nur selten bewusst trainiert. In diesem Nachmittagskurs wollen wir mit lustigen Hörspurgeschichten, spannenden Hörkrimis und kniffeligen Rätseln das Hörverstehen und die Aufmerksamkeit spielerisch schulen.

Almost every day, children are asked to listen carefully at school and at home, but listening is rarely practiced consciously. In this afternoon course we want to train listening comprehension and attention in a playful way with funny audio scavenger hunts, exciting crime stories and challenging riddles.

In der Bücherei werden jeden Mo-nat die besten Punktegewinner ausgestellt. Boostere mit uns deine Antolin-Punkte!

The books is ours! – We will read many books together, alone or with partners. You can then test your reading comprehension with “Antolin” on the iPad right away and will hopefully be rewarded with numerous points! 7.2 Spiel und Bewegung / Games and Movement

Ob Bewegungsspiele im Stuhlkreis, Brettspiele am Tisch oder Freispiel mit verschiedenen Spielsachen: In diesem Nachmittagskurs dreht sich alles um das gemeinsame Spielen und die Freude an der Interaktion mit anderen. Neben jeder Menge Spaß geben diverse Rollenspiele und Freispielideen den Kindern die Möglichkeit, ihrer Fantasie freien Lauf zu lassen und krea-tiv zu werden. Brett- und Kartenspiele vermitteln ihnen hingegen ein erstes Regelverständnis und die Kinder können sich im sozialen Miteinander üben. In diesem Nachmittagskurs ist also für jeden etwas mit dabei.

Whether movement games in a circle, board games at the table or free play with various toys: In this afternoon course, everything revolves around playing together and the joy of interacting with others. In addition to lots of fun, various role-playing games and free-play ideas give chil-dren the opportunity to give free rein to their imagination and become creative. Board and card games, on the other hand, give them an initial understanding of rules and the children can practice social interaction. So, there is something for everyone in this afternoon course.

Wir nehmen lebendige Traditionen und Bräuche im ganzen Jahr unter die Lupe und setzen sie kreativ um. Wir stellen (religiöse) Traditionen und Bräuche im Jahreskreis vor und erklären ihre Ursprünge und Bedeutungen. Auf kreative Weise (malen, basteln, spielen …) lernen die Kinder die lebendige Bedeutung von Festen, Feiern und Jahreszeiten kennen. Christliche Traditionen und Bräuche sind verwoben mit anderen religiösen und kulturellen Handlungswei-sen. Diese Vernetzungen zu entdecken und kennenzulernen ist ein Transfer unseres Angebo-tes.

We take a close look at living traditions and customs throughout the year and implement them creatively. We present (religious) traditions and customs in the cycle of the year and explain their origins and meanings. In a creative way (painting, handicrafts, playing…) the children get to know the living meaning of festivals, celebrations, and seasons. Christian traditions and customs are intertwined with other religious and cultural practices. Discovering and getting to know these networks is a transfer of our offer.

9.5 Ruhe und Entspannung / Rest and relax

Der Kurs soll Kindern spielerisch Entspannungstechniken nahebringen und ihnen dabei hel-fen, Ruhe zu finden und mit Stresssituationen sowohl im persönlichen als auch im schulischen Alltag gelassener umzugehen. Dabei werde ich sowohl passive als auch aktive Methoden ein-setzen. Fantasiereisen mithilfe von Büchern, Musik und Hörspielen werden ebenso Teil mei-nes Angebotes sein wie verschiedene Formen der Muskelrelaxation und Atemübungen. Psy-chomotorische Übungen und sanfte Bewegungsspiele werden ebenfalls stattfinden.

The course is designed to introduce relaxation techniques to children in a playful way and to help them find peace and deal with stressful situations more calmly, both in their personal lives and at school. I will use both passive and active methods. Fantasy journeys with the help of books, music and radio plays will be as much a part of my offer as various forms of muscle relaxation and breathing exercises. Psychomotor exercises and gentle movement games will also take place.
